Hoe speelt filmmuziek met je emoties?

Doem-doem, doem-doem, doem-doem... daar komt de haai in "Jaws" aan! Dat weet je enkel en alleen door die enkele noten muziek. Muziek is cruciaal voor een goede film, want door de soundtrack voel je écht mee. Daarom kennen filmcomponisten de opera's van Wagner zo goed. Prof. dr. John Koslovsky, musicoloog aan de KU Leuven, legt in dit college, opgenomen in Concertzaal Miry (KASK & Conservatorium Gent) uit waarom muziek je zo doet mee-voelen en wat het "Leitmotiv" daarmee te maken heeft.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

John Koslovsky is afkomstig uit Long Island, VS, en kwam via Montreal, New York en Amsterdam in Leuven terecht. Al heel zijn leven is John gepassioneerd door muziek. Als kind leerde hij piano en saxofoon, hij speelde in fanfares en zong in koren. John houdt van véél muziekstijlen: Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Brahms en Bartók, bebop, pop en rock. Het meest indrukwekkende concert wat hij ooit meemaakte was Joseph Haydns “Die Schöpfung”, gespeeld door het Freiburger Barockorkest. Hij had het stuk nog nooit gehoord, maar vanaf de openingsnoten was hij tot tranen toe geraakt. Nooit zal hij die ervaring vergeten. Zijn passie voor muziek geeft John graag door in zijn lessen muziektheorie, muziekanalyse en muziekgeschiedenis.
